Irene Ortiz-Glass

Founder & CEO of Meno Coaching

After experiencing over a decade of physical and mental challenges as a result of the perimenopause and menopause transition and positive gene testing for ovarian cancer, she underwent a bilateral oophorectomy launching her into surgical menopause.

The removal of both of her ovaries caused her to experience a significant drop of her hormones having an immense impact on multiple areas of her body and mind.  After spending over 50K with many doctors to find balance, she decided to take her healing into her own hands.  She became her own advocate by going back to school to become a certified hormone practitioner and combined this knowledge with her over 20 years of experience as an executive coach. “I never thought I could feel normal again and I can honestly say I feel better than I have my entire life!” In 2023, Irene launched Meno Coaching, a practice to help women to become educated, get access to the right lab tests and to get connected to drs and other resources to support them in their transition.  Irene a best-selling author of “The Body Whispers Before It Screams” a book that describes her entire journey including the trauma that launched her into perimenopause.  Her podcast “What I Wish I Knew” has reached thousands of viewers and outlines her story along with interviews with experts on topics such as mental health, gene testing, HRT, healing from trauma and stress management.  Irene is on a mission to educate women regarding the truth about the complexities of menopause and to guide women on a path to finding purpose, healing, and joy during this stage of life.
